What is RFT?

Raw Functional Training is a bodyweight movement curriculum specifically designed to improve mobility and functional strength and conditioning. RFT significantly enhances movement patterns, coordination, mobility, agility, and balance. It increases muscle strength, especially in the core, aerobic and cardio capacity, it helps to prevent injuries and helps to keep joints active and mobile. 

 

Along with the physical benefits you also gain mental strength as you work on your cognitive function. This is done by actively using your sensory processors (the 5 main senses) and the additional 6th and 7th senses that control body awareness (proprioception) and balance and spatial orientation (the vestibular sense).

Who's it for?

Our goal is to move through everyday life with ease, whether you're an athlete wanting to bring your game to the next level or a parent wanting to keep up with your children, everybody can benefit from Functional Fitness. 

Is it right for you?

RFT can be difficult when first starting out, and we understand that. That is why for every movement we do, we have modifications that can be done to build ourselves from the ground up. Our goal is to be able to move and if we injure ourselves in the process, what good is the work we do?

 

We focus on movements that prevent injury and build on those movements. When we were babies we started crawling before walking and then we stopped crawling. Now we are going back to our crawling ways to help build ourselves back up.

Do I have time?

ABSOLUTELY!

If you have 5 minutes or 45 minutes, at home or at a gym, outside or inside, you can benefit from our program.
